The Utan feasts upon the banana and the man subdues himself to the will of the Utan.
|
Little Utan mockingly looks at the man!! He knows that his mother will always protect him.

The wild Bohorok river
|
After a stay of about 2 hours in the domain of the Utans, we went back undamaged in the direction of our hotel. But first we had to cross the wilde Bohorok river again with that little boat. This time, too, we managed not to land in the water. Our guide had to be tough towards the local people, otherwise we probably would have taken a plunge.
| |
Disappointedly the locals were left behind
|
Perhaps they'll have more luck with other tourists crossing
| |
Relaxing a while from the efforts undertaken
|
That bald man is our Wim, than Frits, Boudien and I. Since I had lost so much energy, I ordered a Gado-gado meal with a portion of sate Kambing (goatmeat sate)!! (to make your teeth water). For the dry throat ofcourse half a liter of cold Bintang (let's promote Fred Heineken a litte).
| |
Utan with child
|
During our lunch we saw another Utan with child across the river.
| |
Our hotel back in sight again
|
We'll take a little rest, because at 14:30 a becak (bicycle taxi) ride is on the list.
